Dr. Harold J. Cummings, 89, was a life member of the Columbia County Agricultural Society.  As one of the state vets, he loved overseeing the livestock at several county fairs. “Doc” raised Dorset sheep and helped to establish the sheep and wool display at the fair.  In 1994 he was named NYS Shepherd of the Year
